MaintainAhead

Maintenance timing that adapts

Your driving determines the date.

MaintainAhead learns how quickly you accumulate mileage and forecasts when your next maintenance will actually be due — by mileage or time, whichever comes first.

What it does

Built for the car you drive every day, not a spreadsheet.

Your pace

Forecasts from your real driving

Your mileage rate is worked out from your own readings, so "due in three weeks" means your three weeks, not an average driver's.

Photo → number

Snap the odometer, skip the typing

Take a photo of the dash and the reading fills itself in. The photo is read on your phone, not uploaded — unless you choose to share it to help improve the reader.

NHTSA

Recalls checked for you

Open safety recalls for your exact vehicle, pulled from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Shared

One garage for the whole family

Share a car with the people who drive it. Everyone sees the same schedule and the same history.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute.

  1. 1

    Add your car

Type the VIN. Year, make, model and engine fill themselves in.

  2. 2

    Log a reading

Type the mileage or snap the odometer. Once a week keeps it sharp.

  3. 3

    Get told what's due

Overdue, due soon, up to date — and a reminder before anything slips.

The MaintainAhead difference

A mileage interval tells you how far. Your driving pace tells you when.

If the manufacturer says 10,000 miles or 12 months, MaintainAhead keeps both clocks running and forecasts which deadline is likely to arrive first.

High-mileage driver

1,900 mi/month

Mileage arrives first

MaintainAhead projects the service date from how quickly the odometer is climbing.

Low-mileage driver

350 mi/month

Time arrives first

The calendar deadline stays in view, even when the car is not accumulating many miles.

Questions about plans and billing

Common questions

Know what happens before you add a vehicle.

How does MaintainAhead predict a maintenance date?

It calculates your mileage rate from the odometer readings you log, projects when you will reach the next mileage interval, and compares that date with any calendar deadline.

What if mileage and time are both listed?

MaintainAhead watches both and shows the one expected to arrive first. If your driving pace changes, the forecast changes with it.

Where do maintenance schedules come from?

MaintainAhead uses the best schedule information available for the vehicle and clearly labels fallbacks. You can review and adjust the schedule against your owner’s manual.

Can I record services that were already done?

Yes. Log Maintenance History walks through the vehicle’s schedule so you can enter when each service was last done — mileage, date or both, whatever you remember — or mark it as never done. Due dates then count forward from there, so a used car or one you’ve owned for years starts from the right place.

What happens to an odometer photo?

The reading is processed on your device. The photo is not uploaded unless you explicitly choose to share it to help improve the reader.

Is MaintainAhead free?

You can get started without a credit card. Safety features—including schedules, reminders and recall information—remain available without being locked behind a paid plan.
